RF Skin tightening

RF skin tightening is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to tighten and firm loose or sagging skin.

During an RF skin tightening treatment, a technician will use a handheld device to deliver radiofrequency energy to the skin's surface. This energy heats up the deeper layers of the skin, producing fibroblasts.

Fibroblasts are responsible for stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, two proteins that are essential for healthy, youthful-looking skin.

Common questions

Post treatment

After a skin tightening, we recommend:

  1. Drink plenty of water: Drinking water helps to flush out the toxins that are released during the treatment, and it also helps to keep your body hydrated. We recommend 2-3 litres for the next few days.

  2. Avoid alcohol and caffeine: Alcohol and caffeine can dehydrate your body and slow down the healing process, so it's best to avoid them for at least 24 hours after the treatment.

  3. Eat a healthy diet: Eating a healthy diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains can help to support your body's natural healing processes.

  4. Avoid strenuous exercise: It's best to avoid strenuous exercise for at least 24-48 hours after the treatment, as this can cause the treated area to become inflamed and sore. Gentle exercise is good i.e walking etc. This helps to encourage sweating...they more they sweat the more they will lose and get better results.

  5. Follow your technician's instructions: Your technician will provide you with specific instructions on how to care for the treated area, and it's important to follow these instructions carefully to ensure the best possible results.
